BIOGRAPHY

My name is HyunHo Hwang, and I was born and raised in the Republic of Korea. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Korea, and I have dedicated over 35 years of my life to drawing, painting, sculpting, and design.

I spent four years teaching university students at an art university in South Korea, nurturing emerging artists in both theory and practice. Currently, I reside in Sydney, Australia, where I run an art studio called ACE Art & Design (aceartedu.com), which I have been operating for over 10 years. Many of my students have gone on to win numerous national and regional art awards across Australia each year.

In addition to teaching, I actively pursue my own artistic growth. I have participated in various national and international art competitions and have been recognized with several awards. Notably, I was awarded Second Place in the Nature Category at the Art Room Gallery International Competition in July 2019. I also received 4th Place in the Paint & Other Media Category, and 6th Place Overall, in the Light Space & Time Art Gallery International Competition in September 2019.

Art has always played a central role in my life not only as a profession, but as a lifelong passion. I am committed to continuing my artistic journey and sharing my work with broader audiences around the world.
